Day 1: Arrival – Luang Prabang
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage city celebrated for its well-preserved heritage, golden temples, colonial architecture, and scenic riverside settings. The rest of the day is free at leisure to explore the town’s charming streets and cultural treasures at your own pace.

Day 2: Luang Prabang City Tour - Pak Ou Cave (B)
After breakfast, embark on a guided tour of Luang Prabang’s cultural treasures, including Wat Sene, the city’s oldest temple, and the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong, a masterpiece of classical Lao architecture with its sweeping roofs and intricate decorations.
Continue to Xang Khong Village, renowned for traditional Saa paper making and silk weaving, before boarding a scenic cruise along the Mekong River to the sacred Pak Ou Caves. Set dramatically at the confluence of two rivers, these mysterious caves house thousands of gold-lacquered Buddha statues left by pilgrims over centuries. En route, stop at Ban Xang Hai Village, famous for its locally distilled rice wine, and admire the striking Pha An Limestone Cliff.
In the afternoon, return to Luang Prabang and visit the historic Wat Visoun. Later, climb Mount Phousi to enjoy panoramic views of the city, the Mekong River, and a spectacular sunset. End the day browsing the vibrant Luang Prabang Night Market, where local artisans and hill tribe communities showcase their handmade textiles and handicrafts.

Day 3: Luang Prabang – Kuangsi Fall – Departure (B)
An early optional start offers a memorable opportunity to witness Tak Bat, Luang Prabang’s sacred alms-giving ceremony, where saffron-robed monks silently collect offerings from residents—a centuries-old tradition unique to Laos. Afterwards, explore the lively Morning Market, where locals trade fresh produce and regional specialties.
After breakfast, visit the Royal Palace Museum, home to a fascinating collection of royal artifacts, and the beautiful Wat Mai, one of Luang Prabang’s most important temples. Continuing to the spectacular Kuang Si Waterfall, renowned for its cascading turquoise pools and lush natural surroundings. Visit the nearby Bear Rescue Center, then enjoy time to relax, swim, or stroll along the forest trails.
Return to Luang Prabang in the afternoon. Free at leisure until you transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
