Day 1: Arrival Luang Prabang
Arrive at Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage site and is renowned for its well-preserved traditional architecture, historic temples, and beautiful natural surroundings. Our English guide and driver will pick you up at to the hotel to check in.

Day 2: Luang Prabang – Royal Palace – Suan Luang Orphanage – Pak Ou Caves – Night Market (B)
After breakfast, visit the National Museum, located within the former Royal Palace. This historically significant site houses a charming and carefully curated collection of artifacts that beautifully showcase the depth and diversity of Lao culture throughout the ages. As you explore the museum, you will gain insight into the country’s rich history, traditions, and the legacy of the Lao monarchy.
Next, visit set out to visit the Suan Luang Orphanage, a dedicated home providing care, education, and support to vulnerable children in the Luang Prabang region. Here, you will have the opportunity to meet the children, learn about the orphanage’s programs, and understand the positive impact it has on the local community.
In the afternoon, embark to the boat to visit Pak Ou Caves, you’ll find hundreds of Buddha statues of varying sizes, materials, and postures, left by devotees as offerings. From small, intricately carved figurines to larger, more imposing statues, these relics fill every nook and cranny of the caves.
On the way back, we’ll make a stop at the riverside village of Ban Xang Khong, renowned for its skilled artisans and traditional crafts. Here, you’ll have the chance to observe local weavers working diligently on ancient wooden looms, creating intricate patterns on silk and cotton.
In the evening, explore the Night Market, where you can find a lovely selection of handmade textiles made by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang.

Day 3: Luang Prabang – Alms Giving – Ban Lae Sivilay Full Day Tour (B/L)
An early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning alms-giving ritual of saffron-clad monks. This tradition is unique to Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving this procession and we continue to explore the morning market to have a look at the sales foods on display. Transfer back to the hotel for breakfast.
After that, you will travel out of Luang Prabang, to the village of Ban Laesivilay. There, you will be welcome by a Lao family, who will guide you around their village and will introduce you to the daily farming activities of the community. Afterwards, a family from the Hmong ethnic minority will welcome you to their home to introduce you to Pao Ken their traditional music. You will then have lunch in the company of your host.In the afternoon, they will take you to their plantations (oranges, bananas or papaya, depending on the season) and then a short cruise on the Nam Xeuang River to discover the surroundings. You will stop by the banks to learn how the locals carry on the tradition of gold panning. At the end of the afternoon, you will return to Luang Prabang.

Day 04: Luang Prabang – Ban Nayang – Nong Khiaw (B)
After breakfast, transfer by road to Nong Khiaw (3 hours driving around). On the way visit en route some villages and Ban Nayang where still recognized as one of the most highly preserved forms of authentic pueblados life of Leu ethnicities and Algonquin production textiles.
Arrive at Nong Khiaw, check-in and take a rest.

Day 5: Nongkhiaw – Muang Ngoi – Nongkhiaw (B)
After breakfast, we cruise up the river to Muang Ngoi. Along the way we stop off to visit several different ethnic villages. We actually pass straight through Muang Ngoi at first and pay the village of Ban Sop Jam a visit. This village is famous for its traditional Lao silk and cotton weaving, here you can purchase some beautiful textiles if you wish. After spending some time in the village we turn around and return back downstream to Muang Ngoi. Upon arrival we take some time to have a break and a coffee before heading off on a small trek which takes us through some gorgeous scenery consisting of limestone cliffs, mountains and rice paddy fields. Along the trek we visit a historical cave which was used as bomb shelter by the local during the second Indochina war. Upon returning back to Muang Ngoi we board our boat for the cruise back down the river whilst watching the beautiful sunset over Nong Khiaw, arriving back just before dark.

Day 6: Nong Khiaw Morning Market – Local House – Luangprabang (B)
This morning, visit Nong Khiaw morning market, where you can observe the bustling local life and see a variety of fresh produce, local snacks, and handmade goods sold by villagers. After exploring the market, visit a nearby local house to experience firsthand how people live in this rural area and learn more about their daily routines, customs, and culture.
After the visit, free and easy until our guide and driver will transfer you to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel.

Day 7: Luang Prabang – Elephant Join tour in Elephant Village Camp half day – Express train to Vang Vieng (B/L)
- 8:00 am – 8:30 am: Pick up by our English speaking guide from your hotel lobby within Luang Prabang, Laos
- Arrival at the Elephant Village Camp: Welcome greeting by your guide and participate in a short briefing about elephants
- Elephant Feeding: Get up close and personal with elephants
- Explore Elephant Village: Visit our elephant hospital, museum, gallery and dung paper making facility!
- Learn to communicate: Enjoy the impressive experience of being a Mahout and how they communicate.
- Boat trip to the Tad Sae Waterfall: Ride in a traditional Lao long boat to the Tad Sae Waterfall and relax or swim in the clear water. Swimsuit recommended! (note: water levels will vary with seasonal conditions)
- Lunch: Dine at our Elephant Camp restaurant. Your buffet lunch is served with coffee / tea and drinking water (vegetarian options are available)
- 1:00pm: Depart the camp.
Transfer to the train station to take the express train to Vang Vieng.
Arrival at Vang Vieng train station, transfer to hotel to check in.

Day 8: Vang Vieng – Tham Chang Caves – Blue Lagoon 3 – Boat trip in Nam Song River (B)
After breakfast, visit Tham Chang (Jang) cave – one of the most important caves of Vang Vieng as well as a temporary home for farmers who raise vegetables nearby. You will see crystal clear water running out of the mountain into the river, charming landscapes of the villages, and rice fields.
We then go to the famous Blue Lagoon 3 for relaxing, swimming in the crystal water before we continue to take a boat ride along Nam Song River to explore the wonderful spectacular scenery, and limestone formation and take beautiful photos of the mountainous countryside.

Day 9: Vang Vieng – Vang Vieng market – Vang Vieng School – Express train to Vientiane (B)
After breakfast, visit Vang Vieng market, where you can find a variety of goods including fresh fruits, vegetables, snacks, clothing, and other local products.
After that, continue your journey with a visit to a local school in Vang Vieng, where you will have the opportunity to observe the daily routines of students and teachers, learn about the Lao education system, and gain insights into the challenges and successes of rural schooling.

Day 10: Vientiane City Tour – Talat Sao Mall – COPE Exhibition – Lao Women’s Development Center – Baci Ceremony – Patuxay Monument (B)
After breakfast, start the day with a visit to Talat Sao Mall, a lively local market where you can explore shops selling textiles, handicrafts, and daily goods. Continue to the COPE Visitor Centre to learn about the impact of unexploded ordnance (UXO) in Laos. Through exhibits and survivor stories, gain insight into the challenges faced by victims and the rehabilitation work being done. Then, take a break and enjoy a cup of freshly brewed Lao coffee at a local café.
In the afternoon, drive along Thadeua Road to the Lao Women’s Development Center, located about 20 km from the city center near Friendship Bridge No.1. This center empowers women through training and sustainable crafts. Here, you will join a recycled paper handicraft workshop and try making your own creation using eco-friendly materials.
Afterwards, take part in a traditional Lao Baci Ceremony, a spiritual ritual that involves the tying of white strings on the wrist to offer blessings of health and good luck.
End the day with a visit to the Patuxay Monument, one of Vientiane’s most iconic landmarks. Inspired by the Arc de Triomphe, it honors those who fought for independence and offers panoramic views of the city from the top.

Day 11: Vientiane – Departure (B)
After breakfast free and easy in the morning until our guide and driver will transfer to Vientiane airport to take the departure flight.
